On February 17, 2009 the nation will transition to digital TV. This means that if you do not have cable TV, you will need to get a converter box in order to keep getting a TV signal after that day.
Two assistance centers have opened in Minneapolis to help people with the switch to digital television. The Lao Assistance Center and the Main Street Project launched the Twin Cities' DTV Assistance Centers on Wednesday. Either of these centers can help you with the conversion and will be able to give you information and technical support during the transition to digital TV. You can go to either of the centers:
